Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the cooperative’s operations.

The board consists of members elected from the community to represent the interests of the membership.

Trustees help set policies, guide strategic decisions, and ensure the cooperative operates efficiently and in the best interest of its members.

Rolling Hills Electric is a member-owned cooperative with a board of trustees who reside on the Rolling Hills power lines and are elected by the membership.

Your board is comprised of members living throughout the Rolling Hills Electric service territory. The business and affairs of the cooperative are directed by the board of trustees, whose primary function is planning and policy oversight, establishing the long-term objectives of the cooperative, and providing resources to meet those objectives. Your trustees work closely with the general manager and senior staff to review progress, ensure accountability, make strategic decisions, and stay current on an increasingly complex business.

The cooperative territory is divided into districts, all of which are represented by trustees. Your trustees are elected by the membership for three-year terms of office.
