Budget Pay Options

Budget Pay Options help members manage their electricity costs by spreading payments evenly throughout the year.

Instead of paying higher bills during months of heavy energy use, the budget plan allows members to pay a more consistent monthly amount.

Residential Budget Payment Plan

At Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative, we offer two Residential Budget Payment Plan options to help make your monthly electric bill more predictable: Variable and Fixed.

Both plans are based on a 12-month average and require payments to be made on time each month.

Fixed Plan: Uses a set 12-month average. Any difference between what was paid and actual usage is settled with a “catch-up” month each May.

Variable Plan: Recalculates your 12-month average each month, adjusting as your usage changes. There is no catch-up month unless you leave the plan or move off our line.

Both options can be beneficial—it just depends on what works best for your household!

If you're interested in enrolling or learning more, please call our office Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We’re happy to help you find the plan that fits your needs.
