Report an Outage to quickly notify the cooperative about power interruptions in your area. 

Members can report outages by contacting customer service directly.

Prompt reporting helps the cooperative identify issues faster and dispatch crews to restore power safely and efficiently.

If you are experiencing an outage, please call 785-534-1601 or 800 530-5572.

What To Do If The Electricity Goes Off

First, check your fuses or circuit breaker. If the electricity in your area is off, call Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative and report it.  

When reporting an outage, please report:

  1. Your name and phone number
  2. Location of the service, account number and meter number, if available
  3. Any additional information pertaining to the outage to help Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative personnel locate the problem

Life-Sustaining Medical Equipment

If you or any member of your household use essential life-sustaining medical equipment prescribed by a physician, please let us know. Please make Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative personnel aware of this so we can contact you to let you know about scheduled power interruptions for maintenance purposes.

Please be sure to acquire a back-up power supply (batteries, generator) for any medical equipment that requires a constant power supply.
